Mark your calendar now. My book/calendar will help you understand upcoming days and generate less stress as to what a particular day in the past, present or the future will be like, or in essence, what will become an obvious reflection of what I keep calling, now-time.

My newest edition,  “The Future: 2020” is based on the first edition, (“Foretell the Future with the I Ching and My Calendar of Days.”) I just downsized the title somewhat and add more of my observations to be noted by my fans that have been following this project. I.The Oracle

A. Hexagram 2 is Kun or Field. Additional variations include The Receptive, Acquience or the Flow. Hexagram 2's lower trigram is field or earth, and its upper trigram is identical.

B. The Judgment

   1. The Receptive brings about sublime success,
Furthering through the perseverance of a mare.
If the superior man undertakes something and tries to lead,
He goes astray; But if he follows, he finds guidance.
   2. It is favorable to find friends in the west and south,

To forego friends in the east and north.
       Quiet perseverance brings good fortune.

C. The Image

  1. The earth's condition is receptive devotion.
  2. Thus the superior man who has a breadth of character

       Carries the outer world.

II. My interpretation

A. "The Magnetic"

Peace Out H-11

Hexagram 11

I. The Oracle

A. Hexagram Eleven is very closely related to PEACE, hence, the coming together of heaven and earth, The Great Merger. There is nothing wrong with attraction, that's exactly what happens when by nature, opposites do blindly seek one to the perfectly matched other.

Another variation would be the idea of -heaven and earth mingling within the reality of man,- or better yet, -They Join and make something better, a better person.-(5) The time is correct for drastic movements in any direction; at best become pervasive with your plan, but not to the point of stepping on the foot of the master of ceremonies as you enjoy euphoric contentment at this time. Again, there is an advantage in whatever direction one might take at this time, but if you do, do not force your opinions on those you might meet along the way, for now, -do not use the Army.-(2)

   1. Now is a good time to cross the great water. I say that because as the image depicts, we see that of haven below and earth above, this is a time of natural peaceful resolutions which is as planned by the command of nature, which is beyond man's control. It is the nature of existence to be in accord with this due happenstance today. There is some headway if one recognizes that the earth is a part of the solar system and that we must first connect and unite here on earth at this time before connecting with Mars or Venus, although that is a distance wish.

The internet has made it possible to reach out and say good morning to someone on the other side of earth within Nanoseconds, we need to connect and unite and move in tune with the nature of time. Technology man. Above all, keep your beliefs, but stop looking for a payphone; because times are changing, so make modifications to your lifestyle.

   2. Peace :
This is a time of merging for the greater good. One big greenhouse, we are all in. At this time this is the image that should be on one's mind. This is not a thing that is of a permanent state, meaning it is just for the moment, now.

The ebb and flow of time, accept it and move with it. During these times it is said that -openness is the prerequisite of Influence,-(2) hence, transparency is the best course of action right now. Although the times are of peaceful contentment, abound, do not stray from your appointed, or planned path. (2) The general to carry is, "#Be-consistent."

B. The Image

  1. Earth above, Heaven below, at this moment all is vice-versa.
      a) The small go and the big come, the idea of pervading. This can be described as a situation where there is an expansion with the notion of continually spreading of prosperity via communicating the idea pervading, or connecting as we come into accord with the appointed time. (3)
      b) Thus there is a great advantage in moving forward and making our crucial connections at this time for the greater good of all on earth, particularly, "his universe." The preparation is for the next phase, Obstruction. (3)

II. My interpretation

  A. All I can see is the idea of one planet at a time. We need to focus on the up-keep of this planet right now. We know what will happen if during the course of one's invasive, and opinionated ideas, being imposed on others by force, but now there is a need for a pervasive idiom that finally makes sense, self-actualization. Take care, there is only one Sun. Do you know anyone from any other planet? We are on the same planet, yet we are distant with our plans for the future of the earth as a whole.

The Sun is a double edge sword, it could help the earth by maintaining life, or it could over radiate the oceans over time, again if left unchecked, environmental equilibrium imbalance could result in great losses. What we want to see at this time is a seed which is of heavenly qualities, with the ability to procreate, as it forces its way upwards, or up and down, within the earth. Thus, we can say the great approaches, the uniting of heaven and earth, the image of Peace. Good fortune, Success, and Growth. (1)

1. Again, now is a good time to cross the great river, in plain words, there will be going and coming with no loss. The hexagram has more to do with that of expansion and less to do with that of Splitting Apart as is the case with Hexagram 23.
Remember, no one can stop Heaven and earth from joining. Before you were born this had happened before, you cannot stop the process from happening as Heaven and Earth self- checks itself. You are here because that was your wish to be born, do not think you can now control equilibrium as it exists within this notion of now. Be a good neighbor and help keep the earth clean for the next group wishing to be born who will hopefully help the earth to evolve, and bloom. I also see the fall planting of seeds today.

I.The Oracle

A. Hexagram sixty-two is Xiao Guo, or Small Exceeding. Additional interpretations include Preponderance of the Small and Small Surpassing. The lower trigram is Gen: bound or mountain, and the upper trigram is Zhen: shake or thunder.

B. The Judgment

   1. The Preponderance of the Small. Success.
Perseverance furthers. Small things may be done; great things should not be done.
   2. The flying bird brings the message: It is not well to strive upward,

It is well to remain below. Great good fortune.

C. The Image

  1. Thunder on the mountain: (you heard?)
      a) The image of Preponderance of the Small.
      b) Thus in his conduct, the superior man gives preponderance to reverence.

In bereavement, he gives preponderance to grief.
In his expenditures, he gives preponderance to thrift.

II. My interpretation

A. "Small Exceeding"

Being somewhat modest is the theme of this hexagram. Do not overextend beyond your natural limits, although internally you might feel this is a time for you to take on more, for now, stay within your limits, sir.

As a means of staying in tune with the times, we are told to dwell on the idea of thrift and that of accepting the rewards of our small workings. Taking the low road would be a good idea for now. Again, do not fly too high as to overextend our assets, take things as they come good or bad, be subjective about all matters for the moment.

Do not get overinvolved with anger, impatience, or despair. Although you do hold a precarious position at the moment, which is above and beyond the ordinary, negative tenets such as anger, impatience, and despair, could lead to an avoidable downfall.

Have the mindset of humility and acceptance of your appointed position, be creative and take things as they come. Do not be so much objective with entrenched and rigid mandates. Take it one step at a time.

Return to Oneness

Return to Oneness

Interested in reading New Age books about holistic healing, the Tao, Qigong, and other related topics? Then, the second book in the series by Ricardo B. Serrano, R. Ac., Return to Oneness with the Tao, is just the book for you! In it, the talented and always informative author covers many topics that, when combined, will aid YOU in healing yourselves emotionally and physically, and in your personal spiritual awakening. The insightful commentaries and quotes from the Tao are worth the price of the book in themselves, but you will also learn Taoist meditation and Qigong inner alchemy techniques like lower dantien breathing, Microcosmic Orbit Qigong, primordial Wu Ji Qigong, meditation on twin hearts, and Tibetan Shamanic Qigong (relax; it’s all explained in the book).

Why are these topics important to learn about? Knowing these things will help you to cultivate the Three Treasures Jing, Qi, and Shen, which Serrano also discusses and defines in the first book of the series (reviewed elsewhere here), Meditation & Qigong Mastery. Among other factors for personal transformation and healing, the book mentions that two most powerful factors are “awareness and intention.”

Many of our emotional and physical problems are caused, the book asserts, by a blocking of our life force, or Qi. We must learn what the emotional root cause of the blockage is before we then intentionaly release it through meditation and Qigong. It’s vital to do this, in order to effect a “process of change for personal transformation and healing.”

What is Wuji Qigong? According to the book, it’s “Tai Chi for enlightenment.” Practicing it allows you “to reconnect with the Taoist immortals. It also “activates one’s lightbody (Merkaba), opens one’s heart to unconditional love and heals holographically. In the section of Serrano’s book that discusses this, we also learn the importance of the number twelve in Taoist numerology, Sacred Geometry, and the Chinese calendar. As the author notes, twelve is “related to the 12 meridians in your body, and the 12 hour ‘chi clock’ of their flow cycle.”

I can’t cover every topic the book discusses, but I really liked reading the translated quotes from the Tao Te Ching (The Classic Way). Just thinking about some of them can lead to moments of enlightenment, like Koan riddles. One example is:

Since Being and non-being give birth to each other,
Difficulty and ease complete each other,
Long and short measure each other,
High and low overflow into each other,
Voice and sound harmonize with each other,
And before and after follow each other.

“Return to Oneness with the Tao” by Ricardo B. Serrano, R.Ac. is a worthy addition to the series. We, as humans, attain knowledge and enlightenment in a series of steps, much like steps (or series of books) Serrano has written. This is a book that you’ll want to add to your personal libraries if you read and enjoyed the first book, and it can be enjoyed as a stand-alone book. Once you read it, you’ll want to get the entire series.
